Macmillan

The Macmillan CAB Advice Service (part of the cancer information & advice services) is available for people who have been affected by cancer (patients, their carers and family members). It provides advice and information on benefit, debt, housing and employment. It also provides information on other sources of financial help for people affected by cancer.

The service is based at The Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle (near the radiotherapy and chemotherapy departments). It is accessed on an appointment basis on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and a drop-in advice service on Mondays between 10am-4pm. The Adviser can visit the client on the ward/at home/at the CAB interview room at the Cumberland Infirmary.
