Carlisle South East Advice Service

Carlisle & District Citizens Advice Bureau have a service for Riverside tenants. Priority will be given to those living in Botcherby, Carlisle Central East, Currock, Durranhill, Harraby, Petteril Bank & Upperby.

This service offers a general advice service and casework, and provides information and advice on a wide range of issues such as Income Support, Housing & Council Tax Benefits, Employment & Support Allowance, Incapacity Benefit, Disability living allowance, Maternity Allowance, Tax Credits, Bereavment Allowance, debt, bankruptcy, bailiffs, finance, education, employment, human rights, health, housing & homelessness, immigration & nationality, leisire, travel, transport & holidays, taxes, and more as well as, when appropriate, signposting to other relevant services.

The Carlisle South East Advice Service is open on Tuesdays from 10am-2pm in the Botcherby Healthy Living Centre, and Thursdays 10am-2pm in Barnardo's Community House in Petteril Bank.

Appointments can be made with the outreach worker by contacting admin at the main bureau on 01228 633909, by calling into the outreach, or by writing.
